Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, has declared Wednesday as the first day of Shawwal 1445AH (Eid el Fitr Day). Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, has declared Monday as the first day of Shawwal.
