FG raises salaries for all tertiary institution workers

The Federal Government, through the National Salaries, Wages and Income Commission, has approved payment of a newly approved percentage increment in salaries for academic and non-academic staff of all its tertiary institutions across the country, The PUNCH has learnt. OOU stop students from attending classes for wearing sandals

The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ijebu Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, on Monday, barred hundreds of students from attending classes for putting on pam sandals. Our correspondent gathered that the students were stopped at the school’s Permanent Site gate in Ago-Iwoye, and told to return home to wear shoes.
