A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered chairman of Senate Committee on Army, Ali Ndume, who stood surety for the former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reforms Task Force, Abdulrasheed Maina to appear in court to show cause why he should not be remanded in prison and forfeit his N500m bail bond pending when he would be able to produce the defendant.
The court also ordered the arrest of Maina, adjudged to have jumped bail regarding his trial involving N2bn money laundering charges.
A federal high court in Abuja has revoked the bail of Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT).
At a sitting on Wednesday, Okon Abang, the judge, ordered that Maina be arrested wherever he is found.
The former pension boss, who was granted bail in 2019, has not been appearing in court for trial over alleged fraud.
