A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Friday, ordered the National Identity Management Commission and others to release the certified true copy of David Ukpo’s biodata to former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice. Justice Inyang Ekwo gave the ruling following an originating summon marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/984/2022, moved by Ekweremadu’s counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN. The Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday adjourned the trial of a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, on charges of conspiracy and organ harvest. He faces a charge of conspiracy to arrange or facilitate the travel of another person for exploitation under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Specialist Crime Team of the Metropolitan Police in London has arrested a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice.
