Aggrieved member sues CBN Gov., Emefiele, INEC over APC primary election

A suit seeking to disqualify the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, from participating in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary, on grounds of his non-eligibility, has been filed in a High Court in Port Harcourt. The plaintiff, Naapah Bariledum, who is a member of the APC in Ward 4, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, asked the court, in suit number PHC/1371/CS/2022, to disqualify Emefiele from participating in the primary.
