RC Ojodu hosts Rotary Family Health Day

*Rotary Club of Ojodu Hosts Successful Rotary Family Health Day, Benefiting Hundreds in Lagos-Ogun Outskirts*

The Rotary Club of Ojodu, a beacon of community service and humanitarian efforts, recently concluded a highly successful Rotary Family Health Day (RFHD) from Tuesday, April 16th, to Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. The event, held in front of Destiny Child Primary School, 30 Paul Avenue, Powerline Yakoko, Ojodu, witnessed an outpouring of support from volunteers and medical professionals, all dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the local community.

This year’s RFHD was Chaired by Rotarian Toyin Aiyeola, who brought together a team of dedicated board members and medical officers to offer essential healthcare services to residents in the Lagos-Ogun outskirts. Over the course of two days, more than 500 indigenes in the area benefited from a wide range of medical services aimed at promoting overall health and wellness.

The event featured a comprehensive array of services, including:
Polio Immunization
HIV Testing and Counselling
Malaria Screening and Treatment
Family Planning and Counselling
Dental Check and Care Services
Cervical/Breast Cancer Screening
Prostate Cancer Screening
And many more vital healthcare interventions

Established in 2002 as a provisional Club, the Rotary Club of Ojodu was officially chartered on March 8th, 2005, with 26 dedicated members. Since then, the Club has grown exponentially and has undertaken numerous projects aimed at uplifting the indigent members of the Ojodu community.
