A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party has dismissed as “laughable” the purported suspension of the deputy governorship candidate of the party in the state, Reuben Abati, and 38 others.
The faction loyal to a member of the House of Representatives from Remo North, Oladipupo Adebutu, had in a statement announced the suspension of Abati, spokesman for the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Segun Sowunmi, and others for anti-party activities.
But in a statement by the state Publicity Secretary, Malik Ibitoye, the Adebayo Dayo’s faction dismissed the suspension.
