Real Madrid’s double lifts record 15th UCL

Real Madrid have emerged victorious, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League final at Wembley Stadium to lift their 15th major European title on Saturday.

Both teams created great chances in the first half even though the game started a bit slow. But they were unable to take the lead in the first 45 minutes.

The deadlock was broken in the 74th minute of the match as Dani Carvajal, who put in some fine performances, scored the opener to give the Spanish giants the lead, while Vinicius Jr scored the second to sealed Real Madrid’s 15th Champions League title in London.

Dortmund’s performances were admirable but their efforts were not enough to beat the perennial European champions.
