Organisers of the Lagos/Ogun Multi-Sector International Trade Fair have announced a new date for the trade show.
The event earlier slated for August 15-17, 2024 has been shifted to April 16-19, 2025 while the venue remains the OPIC Event Centre, in Isheri at the boundary between Lagos and Ogun States.
According to Olajide Ige, the team lead of the project’s planning group, the ongoing efforts to get onboard our host states and its positive effects on the fair necessitated the shift in dates so as to put in place structures for a world class event befitting the status of Lagos and Ogun States.
The postponement, according to Ige, has for instance, led to an expansion of the fair from the initial 3 days to four days and could have been five days but for the Easter Sunday.
He also revealed that the fair is been repackaged to offer better business opportunities for sponsors, participants, prospective investors and visitors so as to maximise the benefits of their investments in the project.
In due course and in not too distant future, Ige assured that other innovations and benefits for participants and investors at the fair will be unveiled.
