Former Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola is conspicuously missing as the governorship election in the state is ongoing.
Aregbesola, a chieftain of the party and Minister of the Interior has been at loggerheads with his successor, Gboyega Oyetola over control of the party in the state.
Residents also said they have yet to sight Aregbesola, whom they said usually arrived in his hometown on election eve.
While the voters expect Aregbesola, Akara (beans cake) is being shared at the entrance of his home.
The former Osun State governor usually votes in Ilesa East, Ward 8, Polling Unit 1.
