Governorship candidates of the Social Democratic Party,(SDP) Oyo State “Mr Seyi Makinde” has pledged to restore the state back to its good condition and accord education a top priority if elected into the office.
Makinde while declaring his running mate, Alhaji Sulaiman Adediran, an ex-local government chairman on Thursday in Ibadan assured that his administration will attend to the yearning of the good people of the state.
The (SDP)nominee promised to work in a close associate with all members of his team to generate revenue for the state and ensure healthcare and infrastructures were given a successful lift.
Speaking concerning his deputy Makinde assured the people of the state that Adediran previous performances as a four year caretaker chairman speaks a volume till date. He said ” Adediran is a good choice because from Oke-Ogun area of the state,he was the former caretaker chairman of Irepo local government for four years and from the records he left behind I believe he will be skillfully industrious enough to renew the state back to its normal position”
His passion to help the masses will assist in running a successful government in Oyo State”.he added
On his part, the political science graduate also promised to adhere strictly to the rules and regulation of party and strive to be work effectively as the deputy governor of the state come May 29.
