Contrary to lies being peddled by the Orimerunmu Area Community Development Council that the controversial letter demanding for N.6m from the body came from the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Engr. Kayode Ademolake has distanced his ministry from the fraudulent letter.
In a brief telephone chat with National Infinity Magazine, Engr. Ademolake, when asked if his ministry authored the letter as alleged by Michael Akinfolarin, at a meeting of the OACDC on May Day, the Permanent Secretary bluntly replied “Not from here, such letter can not come from my ministry. Thanks”
At the OACDC meeting held on May 1, Akinfolarin had told his audience “You can quote me anywhere, the letter came from the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure”
He went further to alleged that the picture used in the story reporting the N648,000 scam, a variant of the one used in this story, was his photoshopped image and he doesn’t dress like that, but did not deny that it was his face and shied away from making any comment on the substance of the publication.
Akinfolarin has the notoriety for hiding his face from camera at public functions, using the face cap as cover up and its on record that his picture space in every programme booklet or brochures are always vacant.
Sampler: During the launching and certification of the Orimerunmu Area CDC in December 2015, spaces where his pictures were to appear were left vacant and he is the only person who did so.
So also, on the OACDC Calendar published in 2015, he used a longshot of himself working under an excavator where his face was not visible while on a page that featured all the CDC chairmen in Obafemi Owode Zonal CDC, published during the certificated presentation of Ashimolowo Area CDC, he used the Ogun State CDA logo as his own picture.
