One of the centenarian twins who celebrated their 100 years birthday on Saturday, March 16, 2013, Mrs Emily Kehinde Olukoga-Ogunde has passed on. According to Mr. Sina Ogunbambo, in a statement by his only child, Mr Kunle Olukoga, the centenarian died on Thursday 5th September, 2013 at around 9am while having a nap, after her breakfast. She is survived by her son, grand children, great grand children and her twin sister, Mrs Esther Taiwo Olukoya, who has remained inconsolable after the news was broken to her. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Mrs Esther Taiwo Olukoya (in glasses) and Late Mrs Emily Kehinde Olukoga- Ogunde celebrated their centenary birthday on Saturday March 16 , 2013 at their country home in Okun – Owa. The twins are sisters of the late traditional ruler, Oba Aderibigbe Martins , the Olugbani of Okun Owa and both choristers at Saint Barnabas Church, Okun Owa. They were traders but Kehinde, one of the wives of Late Chief Hubert Ogunde, also assisted the husband in the theatre business working at the background.
