Nigerians have expressed anger over the usage of Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, the alleged kidnap kingpin’s family picture where the wife and five children were seen crying after he was arrested, to depict education’s cry for help at the Federal Executive Councils’s retreat on Education.
The picture which was first published by a national daily to illustrate a story about a purported telephone interview with Evans’ wife, Uchenna Precious Onwuamadike, shortly after the family fled to Ghana, following the billionaire kidnapper’s arrest was used to demonstrate education’s cry for help at the Federal Executive Council Retreat on Education and it has stunned millions of Nigerians and who has vehemently condemned its usage for such an important national event.
The picture was first used in the said interview in a failed attempt to buy public sympathy for the notorious kidnapper’s family shortly after Evans was arrested.
