Abba Kyari, this time around, a fake police officer and a conman acted by Henry Ushie, using the identity of the real CSP Abba Kyari, to create a Facebook page, has been arrested in Asaba, capital of Delta State.
The notorious fraudster who had several posed as DIG Emmanuel Inyang, AIG Mbu rtd. Or an Army Captain, a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria or CEO of companies among several others to defraud innocent Nigerians was caught in the act yesterday.
The 27 year old Henry Ushie, who hails from Bekwara local government of Cross River State, confessed that he was arrested by the Police for same offense in 2015 and charged to court but was subsequently granted bail and there after he returned to the same crime.
He also confessed to running active Facebook accounts in the names of DIG, E Department of Nigerian Police Force, DIG Emmanuel Inyang, AIG MBU RTD, ACP Abba Kyari An Army Captain and a serving Minister of the Federal Republic.
The serial fraudster has collected money from many innocent Nigerians claiming to assist them in securing lucrative jobs and postings to UN Peace Keeping missions.
About a week ago, the real ACP Abba Kyari, who heads the Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT) has alerted Nigerian on his Facebook page that a fraudster has created a “Facebook page using CSP Abba Kyari with my picture” as his profile picture.
The fake Abba Kyari is now cooling his brains in the cells of the Nigerian Police while investigations into his numerous criminal acts continues.
