The convoy of Gabriel Suswam, the governor of Benue state was attacked by men suspected to be Fulani militia in the state.
Governor Suswam was on his way to Umenger, one of the communities that was recently attacked in the on-going communal crisis between Tiv and Fulani herdsmen in the state.
