Elders and leaders of Orimerunmu town in Obafemi Owode Local Govt of Ogun State have suspended a week long planned peaceful protest in support of their demand from dredging companies mining sand from Ogun river behind the community to either perform their corporate social responsibilities or vacate the Orimerunmu road. Zulum gives N36m palliatives to Borno corpers
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, Saturday, August 26, announced the allocation of N36.4 million as palliatives to the 1,215 youth corp members deployed to the state for their national service. Each of them is to receive N30,000.
